Only tried pizza but we didn't see the hype. Sauce didn't have much flavor, nor did crust. Ham and onions were prepared well. Will try another pizza place next time in Mt Pl. Sry Pi lovers :-/. If you want a road trip, try Silver Beach pizza in St. Joe!

Good (not great) flavors, far better than Cottage Inn, minus two issues: 1) W asked for two gluten-free pizzas, but only one was gluten free. 2) The regular crust seems a bit suspicious, given they claim it's fresh dough. I've never had fresh dough burn like this. Frozen, on the other hand, cooks the same as what they gave me.

We ordered two large pizzas and a cheese bread for take out. The pizzas were: 1). Pepperoni and 2). Supreme without onions. Both pizzas were ready when promised and were prepared as ordered. The pizzas and cheese bread tasted fine, but nothing extraordinary.

Top two pizza parlor in the town of Mt. Pleasant. I favor Pizza King as the top but Pisanello's is a close second. Their pizzas are real good but their cheese bread is by far the best. They have a really good pizza buffet and it's worth going inside because the place is clean and the service is top notch. People say the subs are overpriced but I disagree. They are enormous and pack a lot of meat instead of putting a head of lettuce on their subs like other places around town. I talk to a lot people in town and tell me they never been to Pisanello's. That blows my mind. If you are in the downtown area and you want good pizza then the only place I suggest is Pisanello's. You won't be sorry.

My favorite pizza in Mt. Pleasant.. and the state of Michigan! Great sauce and variety in toppings. LOVE the breadsticks. I moved away from Mt. Pleasant after high school and just recently moved back. Every time I visited town, I got one of their pizzas. Recently also tried the chicken wings and cinnamon breadsticks - also delicious. Don't go anywhere else - this place is the pizza jackpot. Very quick delivery, too. Plus, if you become a regular, they send postcards throughout the year for free breadsticks or a 2 liter coke product.

Stopped into MP for the night and needed some take out pizza. I read Yelp and picked Pisanellos. It was really good. Great pizza at a great price.

i went to CMU and this was the only pizza I would let in my dorm room. this pizza has no equal. they have fresh vegetables for their ingredients and prime cuts of meat. I order so much pizza from this place that they knew our phone number when we called.

I've had every pizza place in mt pleasant and pisanellos is by far the best. Great location especially if you live towards the down town area.

Pisanello's is just your typical pizza place in a college town, but a little more over priced than most places in town because it isnt a chain. The pizza itself is pretty good but I usually only ate there when they had the lunch buffet, which really didn't fit into my schedule that often. They will often take longer to deliver to places on campus or to off campus apartments near CMU because they are located downtown, on the complete opposite side of town from most of it's their patrons.

Pisanello's has been in the MTP since, like, 1969 I think. In my opinion, it's the best pizza in town. Period. Forget the corporate crapola they call pizza at those "other" places. You can get that anywhere. Pisanello's does it right, and you can definitely taste it. I survived on pizza during my 6 years on top of Mt. Pleasant, and I tried them all. Pisanello's was without a doubt the best place in town. Bottom Line: - Excellent pizza - Competitive prices - Friendly and attentive employees - Located downtown (near the bars!)

This was a staple in my diet every Thursday. Me and the guys would go for the lunch buffet and have the best pizza in town. It is hard to think of a better place in Michigan that serves better pizza.

Decent pizza, relatively cheap, unfortunately the place is kinda dirty, and the staff is kinda rude. Skip it.

I was raised in Mt. Pleasant MI and grew up with this pizza and let me say they still put together a great pie. I'm visiting from CA where I've lived for a dozen years and am a pizza expert. I don't know what the other review was talking about,"burnt hard crust". My pizza was cooked perfectly. Dough was great and toppings were plenty. I did find they could have put more sauce on the pizza but it might be me. I say check it out...
